My name is Yutaka Matsuo. I am a professor at the University of Tokyo (UT), working on artificial intelligence, especially deep learning and web mining. I got my Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2002. From 2005 to 2007, I was a visiting scholar at Stanford University. From 2014 to 2017 I was a visiting associate professor at National University of Singapore.
At the University of Tokyo, I am a faculty member of The Research into Artifacts, Center for Engineering (RACE), Department of Technology Management for Innovation (TMI), and Program for Social Innovation (PSI), School of Engineering. The website of my laboratory is here.
